Virtual School Provision

Our Virtual School offer for home learning is personalised to our pupils needs. Our core offer is reflected below:

Phase 1 - Squirrels, Acorn, Beech, Willow, Spruce, Squirrels South:

Pupils in Phase 1 will access:

  • Weekly Padlet with daily lesson timetable, teaching videos/explanation and daily activities
  • Resource pack of concrete activities to complete alongside the Padlet
  • Microsoft teams class lessons (timetable to be agreed based on need)
  • Regular contact/messages via Class Dojo
  • School website class home learning page activities
  • Enrichment activities – Academy YouTube channels
  • Personalised therapeutic input as required from the academy Therapy team
  • Regular phone call from the Classteacher

Phase 2 – Hazel, Pine, Larch, Maple, Rosewood, Oak, Hazel South, Beech South, Acer South:

Pupils in Phase 2 will access:

  • Weekly Padlet with daily lesson timetable, teaching videos/explanation and daily activities
  • Resource pack/hard copy resources where required to support Padlet activities
  • Microsoft teams class lesson daily
  • Regular contact/messages via Class Dojo
  • School website class home learning page activities
  • Enrichment activities – Academy YouTube channels
  • Personalised therapeutic input as required from the academy Therapy team
  • Regular hone call from the Classteacher

Phase 3 – Chestnut, Elm, Cedar, Fir, Sycamore, Rowan, Apple:

Pupils in Phase 3 will access:

  • Weekly Padlet per subject with teaching videos/explanation and daily activities 
  • Resource pack/hard copy resources where required to support Padlet activities
  • Two Microsoft teams lessons per day - timetable to be communicated in advance
  • Regular contact/messages via Class Dojo
  • School website class home learning page activities
  • Enrichment activities – Academy YouTube channels
  • Personalised therapeutic input as required from the academy Therapy team
  • Regular phone call from Tutor/Keyperson

Specific Needs – PLACE, Juniper, Palm, Olive, Bay:

Pupils in Specific Needs will access a personalised home learning package which may include:

  • Weekly Padlet with daily teaching videos/explanation and daily activities 
  • Microsoft Teams lessons
  • Regular contact/messages via Class Dojo
  • Resource pack of concrete activities to complete alongside the Padlet
  • School website class home learning page activities
  • Enrichment activities – Academy YouTube channels
  • Personalised therapeutic input as required from the academy Therapy team
  • Regular phone call from Classteacher/Key person
