About this department

We offer a range of QCF qualifications, from Entry level award to Level 1 certificate, which are developed and quality assured by The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), the only awarding body dedicated solely to the motor industry. (www.imiawards.org.uk). Pupils can achieve a nationally recognised qualification opening up ample opportunities for them to progress in the motor industry or gain transferable skills and confidence to follow other practical professions.

The QCF qualification works with credits ( ). For pupils to achieve Level 1 award or Entry award they must gain (12) credits. To achieve an entry Level Certificate (24) For a Level 1 certificate (29) credits.
